PRESENTED BY: Holly Edmondson
Holly will be discussing the benefits of meditation, mindfulness, and mind-body stress reduction practices for people with a variety of chronic conditions. She will share some of the recent research that has been done on yoga’s effectiveness and impact as well as sharing the research from her inpatient yoga programs at the Charles George VA Medical Center. She will be leading a short, accessible, chair-based yoga and mindfulness session at the end of the talk that will involve breathing exercises, gentle stretches, and a guided relaxation!
