SPEAKER BIO

I am one of only 80 physicians nationwide who is dually-certified in both Surgery and Hospice and Palliative Medicine, and I recently completed a Master of Divinity at Wake Forest.

I am particularly excited to provide expert palliative care to surgical patients with life-threatening illnesses. I became interested in HD caregiver suffering while caring for the disrupted and grieving family of a patient with HD in our Trauma ICU who had fallen and broken his neck.

 And … I’m a Master Beekeeper!
